Everton star Iliman Ndiaye's proposed move to Manchester United could be back on.

The Red Devils were reportedly interested in the Senegal ace, but that seemed to have cooled in recent weeks.

The star, who has played 71 times for the Blues, has refused to sign several contract offers to increase his salary and his stay on Merseyside.

That is something which Michael Carrick's side could offer him, so he could be tempted by an Old Trafford switch.

It may be a realistic exit option for the Hill Dickinson Stadium winger, with the latest update on United's business.

The condition behind Manchester United's interest in Iliman Ndiaye

United are understood to be in the market for a new winger, and Ndiaye is on their shortlist.

A report from iNews on Friday claims that he is one of two targets being explored, with West Ham's Crysencio Summerville.

It also states that the Red Devils will only make their move at the right price.

That could be a problem, as the Toffees will not allow the 26-year-old to go at anything below what they consider a fair price.

What is Everton's stance on Ndiaye's future?

David Moyes' side clearly want their star man to stay, that is why they have made several approaches over a new deal.

They are believed to be relaxed over the situation, as the player is under contract until 2029 and the Friedkin Group have eased any financial difficulties.

Therefore, the L3 outfit are under absolutely no pressure to sell, even if the player kicks up a fuss.

Whether they would want an unhappy player, that would potentially cause a rift in the dressing room is another matter entirely.

So far though, Ndiaye has not indicated a desire to leave the club, but if he did, the Blues are believed to want a similar figure to the one that took Anthony Gordon to Barcelona earlier this summer.

That was in the region of £69million, and whether United would be willing to pay that much, remains to be seen.

It could be an interesting saga that develops once the World Cup is over, as the player is currently on international duty.
