How much did Everton bid for Jamie Leweling?

There is a desperate need to get out there and find a direct alternative to Ndiaye.

That certainly won't be easy given how good the Senegal international has been since signing from Marseille in 2024.

Folarin Balogun looks set to come in from Monaco, while Jack Grealish is now destined for a Merseyside return.

There is clearly a desire for another attacker to come through the door in the shape of Leweling.

That doesn't look likely to happen before the window slams shut.

That comes despite a £36.8million bid from the Toffees, a figure that would represent the second biggest sale Stuttgart have ever made.

It is clear with a bid upwards of £36m that Moyes has money to spend before the window ends.
