Everton ready to reignite pursuit of Beto as Udinese chief makes transfer admission
Serie A club Udinese’s chiefs have admitted that Everton-linked striker Beto will be leaving the club this summer, in all likelihood.
According to Napoli Magazine [31 May], the Toffees are ready to reignite their pursuit of the Portuguese forward, having chased him in the January window.
President Giampaolo Pozzo revealed recently that it’s going to be hard to say no as there have been significant offers arriving at the table for the 25-year-old.

Beto has the perfect frame for a Sean Dyche striker and there’s every reason to believe that he’ll thrive at Goodison Park.
The Toffees tried to sign the six-foot four-inches tall player soon after Dyche was appointed but due to a disagreement on the price, the move fell through.
Everton then did not bring in a single forward and still managed to keep themselves in the Premier League, which is commendable, to say the least.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has not been available for games than he has due to injury and his fitness cannot be relied upon for next season.
Beto may be slightly expensive, but he’s an upgrade on the England international and will suit Dyche’s style of play as well.
Given the fact that he kept the Toffees up means that he’s got plenty of credit in the back and deserves the board to back him.
