Tyler Dibling must be questioning everything at Everton right now.

The Englishman has seriously failed to impose himself since moving to Merseyside last summer.

His £42million move from Southampton has been anything but value for money so far.

There have been few moments for the Toffees faithful to hang their hat on as encouragement for the future.

Some flashes had been shown ahead of the recent international break as he looked to be breaking through.

Dibling now looks to have gone backwards as frustration continued to build against Chelsea.

Tyler Dibling momentum cancelled out by David Moyes

It finally felt as if the Englishman had turned a corner before he linked up with England under-21s in September.

The final two games before the international break saw the attacker feature for 90 minutes in the Carabao Cup, followed by 24 in the Premier League.

The former came at home to Wolves and after bagging a match-winning assist, he was arguably Everton's best player on the night.

He completed seven dribbles in L3 as well as creating two chances for his teammates.

Dibling was then David Moyes' first substitute against Ipswich Town and he once again created two chances while also taking three shots.

That should have been the ground for him to go on and be an impactful player, but instead he has been afforded just four minutes in the last two games.

Why didn't Dibling come on vs Chelsea?

Having only picked up four minutes away to Hull City, the ex-Southampton talent will surely have been keen to feature more against Xabi Alonso's side on Saturday.

Instead, he was left on the bench for the entire 90 minutes.

That came despite a general lack of attacking threat from Moyes' side throughout the whole encounter.

It isn't as if attacking changes didn't come, as both Tyrique George and Brennan Johnson both came on.

They didn't create a single chance between them.

That played its part in the Toffees going goalless at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Supporters are now asking serious questions why Dibling wasn't given a chance.

That has only added to the frustration from the Hull draw where his minutes were severely limited.

After his progress before the international break, why isn't he getting a chance? I would love to know.
