David Moyes goes all out for Jarrod Bowen as new Everton bid pushed
David Moyes is ready to make his first serious splash of the summer transfer window at Everton with Jarrod Bowen.
The Toffees are yet to make serious moves in the market, but that could soon change as the World Cup continues.
Bowen was one of those left disappointed by Thomas Tuchel and England, but he could yet end the summer with delight.
West Ham were relegated from the Premier League on the final day, and that could open the door to their skipper moving on.
Everton have been linked before, but that drop to the Championship could provide the bargain opening they've been waiting for.
With Moyes struggling in the final third after injuries last season, Bowen could be the perfect addition.
How much could Jarrod Bowen cost?
Everton won't have hundreds of millions to spend in the market, so the Friekdins will want to be smart.
That is exactly why Bowen could be perfect.
Alan Nixon has reported via his Patreon that Moyes is ready to go all out to reunite with Bowen at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The journalist states that a £20million bid is being pushed by the Scotsman, who could eventually replace Iliman Ndiaye.
Everton and Moyes are said to have made Bowen a first-choice target, and West Ham's relegation should mean that a transfer can be clinched.
What is happening with Iliman Ndiaye?
Most would argue that Everton need Bowen alongside Ndiaye, not as a replacement on Merseyside.
After Jack Grealish was injured last season, Moyes had to struggle with Harrison Armstrong, Dwight McNeil and Tyrique George out wide, and it simply didn't work.
So, they'd be back to square one, or even further than that, if Ndiaye was to leave and Grealish wasn't re-signed too.
Bowen would plug that hole, but he would be forced to work even harder without that added starpower around him.
For £20m, that would be the bargain of the summer, though.
Would West Ham really accept that? We know they've been relegated, but their captain and star man would surely require more money.
Mateus Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville are lined up for huge-money exits, so the Hammers will have more pulling power around Bowen.
It could come down to the winger himself, and just how much he wants a reunion with Moyes, and more importantly, Premier League football again.
