Everton have been dragged into plenty of transfer drama over the past 24 hours.

From Iliman Ndiaye potentially leaving to Liam Delap possible arriving, there has been both developments both ways.

All this as Everton suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss to Stoke City in their latest pre-season clash on Tuesday.

That match further highlighted the importance of the absent Ndiaye, while further attacking firepower could also be done with.

David Moyes has so far added just Hayden Hackney to his squad from last season, with Tyrique George and Merlin Rohl's loan moves being made permanent.

There could soon be some more activity at Hill Dickinson Stadium, though, as Goodison News rounds up all the latest transfer goings on.

Nathan Zeze back on Everton's transfer radar

Everton fans may remember Nathan Zeze's name from this time last year when he was first linked with a switch to Merseyside.

Nothing came of that as he instead made the move from Nantes to Neom in Saudi Arabia.

However, 12 months on from that £17m transfer, financial problems at Neom may force them into a sale.

Everton are said to be one the clubs eager to sign Zeze as he is given a route back to Europe.

Jack Grealish's whereabouts revealed as Everton talk continues

Jack Grealish being left out of Manchester City's pre-season squad for their tour of Asia only heightened talk he could return to Everton.

The winger is still not 100 per cent over the injury he picked up on loan at Everton in January

Still, being left out for a large part of pre-season comes as a surprise from the outside looking in.

Everton continue to be linked with Grealish, who is now training in Majorca while City are in the Far East.

Everton price clear for wantaway Iliman Ndiaye

Ndiaye's name has dominated the gossip columns as far as Everton are concerned over the past couple of days.

It has been suggested that Ndiaye wants to leave Everton this summer, having rejected four new contract offers.

That surely makes his stance pretty clear.

However, Everton do not want to sell and will supposedly only consider offers of £70m or more if they are to change their stance.

Liam Delap could be Everton's for the taking

Delap - hailed a "special" talent by Liam Rosenior last year - is another who has been linked on and off with Everton a fair bit over the past year.

With Everton potentially in the market for a new striker, despite having Beto and Thierno Barry on their books, Delap could again be available.

Moyes supposedly considers Delap an ideal player for Everton, but it will take between £35m and £40m to land his signature.

For now, that is one to keep an eye on.
