Everton have found their breakthrough to bring Tyrique George back to Merseyside.

The Blues signed the Chelsea forward on loan back in the winter window amid a season-ending injury for Jack Grealish.

George, while not having quite the impact that the L3 outfit would have wanted, showcased enough for Everton to want his return and that looks to be inching closer.

A £25million option to buy was included in the loan, but David Moyes' side had looked to renegotiate for a better deal. An outcome that has worked in their favour.

George is set to join Everton permanently on a deal worth a guaranteed £18m with a further £6m in add-ons.

And details of how his arrival could influence further business at Hill Dickinson Stadium have now emerged.

Why Tyrique George may not be Everton's last wide addition this summer

Bringing George back to Everton is an excellent piece of business for Moyes, and it provides him with strength in depth out wide.

However, his signing may not be the end of the deals made for wide attackers coming to the Toffees.

According to The Athletic: "Everton are likely to look at further wing additions too."

The report shares that with the uncertain futures of Iliman Ndiaye and Dwight McNeil, there could yet be further transfers made in that department.

Grealish is also still firmly on Everton's radar as they look to do a deal on the right terms with Manchester City.

Likewise with George, Everton had an option to buy Grealish, which was set at £50m, which they have decided against activating.

But as seen by the deal for George, that may provide optimism that Everton's transfer department can get a Grealish deal over the line.

Who could Everton sign out wide?

When it comes to wide attackers that have been linked with Everton, there have been quite a few.

Everton have been tipped to chase Jarrod Bowen, following West Ham's relegation and Moyes' previous relationship with the Englishman.

However, there are plenty of other suitors in the race for the Premier League proven attacker.

Meanwhile, long-term target Edon Zhegrova has continued to be linked with Everton as his future at Juventus looks all but over.

Additionally, Japanese international Keito Nakamura is a recent Everton link as the Blues look to improve in the attacking area.

Nakamura was recently away with Japan at the World Cup, where he managed to net one goal and create one assist for the Samurai Blue.

Overall, Everton are not short of options in that department.
