Sean Dyche exit update as Everton speculation continues – Sources

Sean Dyche has the full backing of Everton ahead of the potential takeover by The Friedkin Group, Goodison News understands.

The Blues boss has been the subject of intense speculation this season after his side began the new Premier League campaign with a run of four consecutive losses.

David Moyes has been touted with a return to Goodison Park should Dyche be dismissed before the end of the season [TBR Football] while former Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has also emerged as a candidate [Graeme Bailey] due to his relationship with Dan Friedkin forged by his time at AS Roma.

Sources on Merseyside have revealed to Goodison News, that Dyche will have the full backing of the Everton board amid the ongoing takeover process.

While Goodison News has learned Dyche will be able to continue at the Everton helm for the foreseeable future, his job is not completely safe on Merseyside.

The 53-year-old has improved on results in recent weeks embarking on a three-match unbeaten run in the Premier League consisting of two draws and one vital 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace.

However, Dan Friedkin is reportedly eager to appoint a new figurehead at Goodison Park [TBR Football] to usher in a new era at the Toffees at Bramley Moore Dock next season.

It appears Dyche’s days at Everton may very well be numbered, all the boss can do for the time being is focus on winning football matches to win over the support of Friedkin, starting against Ipswich Town on Saturday [19 October].
