Everton make contact with ex-Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj’s entourage, Sevilla open to January exit
Everton have made contact with the entourage of Sevilla winger Adnan Januzaj about a January transfer, according to a report by Fichajes.net.
Writing on their official website (22 September), the Spanish news outlet report that the Belgium winger wants to leave Sevilla after not playing regularly this season and the Toffees have “made contact”.
Seville are open to letting him leave and “won’t hesitate” to accept an offer should it come, with Everton likely to be in the market for attackers in January after losing Neal Maupay, Alex Iwobi and Demarai Gray on deadline day and afterwards.

Talent
Everyone that saw Januzaj come through at Manchester United ten years ago under David Moyes was expecting a real world beater to blossom.
But since then he has struggled to really make an impact anywhere else, having left and played for the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Real Sociedad and Sevilla over the years.
Now a return to the Premier League could be on the cards but whether he fits the bill of a Sean Dyche winger who works hard off the ball and can produce in the final third remains to be seen.

But he would certainly bring a certain level of quality on the ball and an ability to beat players one v one in the final third, and that type of talent could really be the difference between relegation and staying in the Premier League.
The upcoming takeover could play a part as he funds available for signings aren’t known yet, but if Dyche wants him and a deal is doable then it’s certainly one to keep an eye on once the January window edges nearer.
